Don't miss your chance to experience a hearty chuck wagon cooked meal of fresh beef roast, potatoes, beans, biscuits and peach cobbler cooked in cast iron kettles over the open flame. Each wagon will have their own inspiration and menu - wander by the wagons, noting their antique detail and talk with the cooks & crew about their passion! Step back into history and spend a day in the late 1800's. Restored antique chuck wagons are rolling in to celebrate the creator of the chuck wagon, Charles Goodnight, at the barn he built in Pueblo in 1870. Mosey around the wagons and watch the cooks at work, converse with the cooks & crew about their passion. Tour the barn, shop with the vendors and silent auction, chat with the period re-enactors as they display their historical artifacts in the barn. Draft horses and a longhorn will be hanging around too.

Tour the preserved historic Charles Goodnight Barn built in 1869-1870.
Shop the western vendors and the silent auction. Step back in time and tour the beautifully restored wagons and watch as they cook up an amazing meal. The cooks and crew are passionate about preserving the heritage of the west and sharing with everyone. Enjoy a day of a slower pace and friendly banter. The Fort Carson Mounted Color Guard will be presenting colors at approximately 1:45 pm.
